ANITA McGRAW
“All of my life I have loved doing things with my hands. Along the way I developed a love of history and the ordinary things people did with their hands to survive. I’ve made paper, soap, candles, and clothes.

"I learned to sew from my grandmother, Rosella Condon, who was a milliner at the turn of the last century. I learned to knit from my mother, Jean Frances, when I was a little girl, and I taught myself most of the other fiber arts over the years. My Aunt Ruth, an artist, taught me how to do many creative things with nature.

"I take my love of handcrafts, baking, gardening, nature, and history, and weave them into the fabric of my life. All is well. Life is sweet."
