CHERYL KERR
Cheryl Kerr began crafting baskets over twenty years ago. She learned to make egg baskets while living in Minnesota, and after moving to southwest Virginia, began experimenting with different techniques and styles. Cheryl usually concentrates on three basic basket structures: the radiating spoke basket, the square or rectangle base basket, and the rib style basket. Cheryl favors the shapes and patterns of the traditional baskets, such as egg baskets, market baskets, and bean pot baskets. She enjoys passing on that love through basket weaving classes for all ages.
