JAMES CAMPBELL
James Campbell was born during World War II and grew up near the foothills of Big A Mountain in Russell County, Virginia. His life was not easy during that period and he was continually driven to overcome the hardships that his family faced.
During his four high school years, he did most of the farm chores on their eighty-acre farm in the evenings after school and if there was a full moon, at night. Often times, as he worked, he prayed that God would give him the knowledge to do something other than farm. He will always be thankful to Him that his prayers have, at last, been answered.
He lives with his wife, Margaret, in Tazewell County, Virginia, where they raised their two children, who have both married and moved away from home.
James now spends most of his time writing, the thing he enjoys most, outside of spending time with his family.
