PATSY ALIFF
Patsy Aliff has always loved the tactile, soothing qualities of loose stones–especially the feeling of their weight and coolness in her hands. Patsy creates her jewelry by surrounding herself with a wide array of stones and then composing the designs intuitively. Many of Patsy’s jewelry designs are inspired by Native American pieces, and she often uses turquoise and shells in her bead work.
Coming from a family where both mother and grandmother crocheted and quilted, Patsy has long enjoyed handling yarn and working with different textures. She enjoys making something out of very little, using basic elements to create beautiful and useful pieces.
Patsy Aliff lives in the Paint Lick area of Tazewell County.
